Mounted on ponderous but rugged tracks, each Thunderfire Cannon is a quad-barrelled gun capable of a punishing rate of fire. The Techmarine manning a Thunderfire Cannon can set its shells to detonate in a variety of different ways, depending on the tactical situation. Surface detonations are employed against numerous enemies in comparatively clear terrain, while airburst shells are used to scour a foe from cover. The most devastating barrage, however, is one programmed to burrow deep into the ground before detonating – the resulting shockwave is often sufficient to knock the foe sprawling, making them easy prey for other weaponry.

A four-barrelled cannon that fires massive high explosive shells at the enemy – what’s not to like about that? The Thunderfire Cannon is a great way to thin out the ranks of an enemy horde, so if your opponents use lots of lightly armoured troops then this is the weapon for you. This pack contains one Space Marine Thunderfire Cannon – a finely detailed resin cast kit that comes in thirty-one components, and is supplied with one 25mm round base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Super Glue and Citadel Paints.
